Do you want increase the intensity and pleasure of your sex life? Studies show that average man loses 90% of his testosterone gradually from age 25 to age 70.
Has your interest in sex dropped, or your ability to perform become difficult?
Well, you are not alone. That happens to many men and women as they get older. The reason that happens is because your body is not producing enough sexual hormone – testosterone.
Many men suffer from lack of desire or lack of sexual stamina. These are serious problems that affect not just a man’s sex life, but also his whole being, including his emotions, relationships and self-esteem. Besides lack of sex drive, there is often loss of drive in professional or business life.
Decreased level of hormone can lower energy, sex drive, muscle mass, and bone density while increasing fat. Other symptoms are stiffness and pain in muscles and joints, memory problems, moodiness, irritability, fatigue, exhaustion and depression with a sense of hopelessness.
Reduced levels of testosterone have been conclusively linked to heart and circulation problems, increased tendency of blood clotting, high blood sugar levels, and fatigue.
The loss of testosterone gradually takes away your good health and causes you to lose sexual performance, your manhood, energy, and other health benefits.
This problem must be solved if you want to feel and perform your best and to reach your optimum health. If you fail to solve your declining testosterone problem, your sexual desire and performance continue to get worse and you can suffer from additional health problems.
Studies show that testosterone:
Hormones are naturally produced in the body to stimulate other actions. Some hormones stimulate the production of other hormones. Sex hormones are mostly produced in the sexual organs. In the male, these are known as androgens, which include testosterone and androsterone. Testosterone is manufactured in the testes of men and adrenal glands and ovaries of women.
Female hormones include estrogen and progestin. These hormone are produced primarily by ovaries in females and to a lesser amount by the adrenal and testes in males. The body produces hormones of the opposite sex, but in lesser proportions than those of its own sex.
Most hormones, including testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, growth hormone, DHEA and melatonin reach peak levels before the age of thirty and then begin to decline with age. Although estrogen, which is a primary female sex hormone, has some libido-enhancing effects, but testosterone is usually more effective.
Progesterone has also been linked with certain health benefits, including bone density, breast and prostate health, and to some degree guard against the risk of cancer. Progesterone is also a menstrual balancer, mood enhancer, and it is important for the youthful appearance of skin. Decreased progesterone production has been associated with loss of libido. Progesterone can improve the sex lives of men and women by boosting testosterone levels.
Generally, the best way to keep the body’s hormones balanced is to maintain good physical and mental health through proper nutrition, regular exercise, and adequate rest.
Synthetic androgen and antibiotic agents have been used in excess by body builders for gains in muscularity. These hormones can also cause increase in libido. The excess use can lead to serious disruption of the balance of the entire endocrine system. The regular use of testosterone and other hormones can cause dependency by slowing down the body’s own production of these hormones.
Androgen’s undesirable side effects may include acne, hair loss, facial hair growth in women, irritability, prostate enlargement, liver damage, heart disease, and certain cancer. However, there are not enough studies done for long-term use of hormone supplements to determine all the negative side effects.
Because hormones play an important role in the body, it is wise to consult a knowledgeable physician before using any hormone products.
Today’s leading doctors recommend free testosterone level for men should be between 15 and 25 for optimum health. You can check with your doctor to be tested. Your doctor may prescribe testosterone as an anti-aging hormone.
Beginning around age 30, a man’s testosterone level begins to decline, and continue to do so as he ages. Free radicals and some prescription drugs adversely impact testosterone production in men.
If you’re experiencing symptoms such as decreased sex drive, erectile dysfunction, depressed mood, and difficulties with concentration and memory, seek a physician and have complete exam. Since testosterone levels fluctuate throughout the day, you’ll need to get it checked again to make sure it was an accurate reading.
Good thyroid function is critical to the balance of many systems of the body, and it is essential to a good sex life. Many people suffer from low thyroid function. Either excessively high or low levels of thyroid hormone can negatively affect your body and affect your testosterone levels.
It’s a good idea to have yearly physical checkups, including your thyroid and other hormones. Women are even more likely to lose interest in sex, because excess thyroid destroys the small quantities of testosterone they have.
The best option is to try to raise your testosterone level naturally and try it for at least six months. You’ll be surprised that the natural remedies are often the best route to choose.
DHEA
DHEA is a hormone that is naturally produced in the body. The body can convert it into sex hormones testosterone for men and estrogen for women. As we grow older, the body produces less of these hormones. Taking DHEA supplement will allow our bodies to retain youthful levels of sex hormones.
DHEA supplements can boost sexual desire for both men and women. It has certain risks and causes hair fall when consumed over a certain period. You don’t need prescription for DHEA supplements; however, be sure to check with your doctor before start taking DHEA supplements.
