Types of Email Marketing That Sell

Email is still remains the quickest way to get items sold on the Internet. When people see something in the email that interests them, they can simply click on the link which will take them directly to the landing page you want them to see.

If used properly, email can multiply your business results. However, you have to know how to use if effectively in order to get good results. Good knowledge of email marketing can definitely help.

There are three types of email marketing that you need to be familiar with:

1. Automated Emails

Automated emails are triggered when a customer takes a certain action like making a purchase or registering to receive your promotions or newsletters. Automated are performed by autoresponder that are pre-programed and then used without human intervention.

2. Campaign Emails

These are a series of emails that are sent over a period of time for one specific promotion, such as product launch. This maybe a series of 7-14 or more emails sent over 30-60 days. You may be promoting a new product or even an existing product emailed to your house list.

3. Broadcast Email

An email sent to everybody on your list, such as promotional email or newsletter email.
